I have been using Acronis True Image perpetual license lmage to do a manual backup every 3 months and it normally checks for an update when it runs so I assumed it would download the latest build,which is apparently necessary for Acronis to work I don’t do online cloud backups if that makes a difference, manual backups stored on the computer’s hard drive itself. Like a lot of people I’m guessing I got the scary email from Acronis today January 28th indicating Acronis needed to be updated to the latest build or it would vuild working.
Here’s the strange thing I installed this file it asked me to uninstall my current version of Acronis which I did, and then reinstall using the file downloaded Launch Acronis local image, and it reports I am still at build I’ve looked at the AcronisTrueImage builf in the build download package, and find the newest file dates are all the year Looks to me like they ссылка на страницу create the build package correctly.
So I’m trying to find a phone number or Email address to contact them before the February deadline. I only run my Acronis backups every 3 months bad I know it should be more often : but I will try to remember to post on the forum here too re: if my True Image is still letting me do backups.
